Why this matters
Online MRCP PACES practice is most useful for consultation flow, difficult communication, explanation quality, and decision-making under time pressure. It is not a replacement for bedside physical examination practice.
What to focus on
- Use AI practice for Stations 1 and 4 communication encounters and Stations 2 and 5 consultation encounters.
- Practise asking for examination findings clearly, then use them in your reasoning out loud.
- Track recurrent weaknesses in structure, prioritisation, and patient-centred language.
How TalkingCases fits this topic
TalkingCases is designed for the voice-compatible parts of PACES23: communication encounters and consultation encounters where you request findings and then use them in real-time reasoning.
